Specializing in the Mediterranean and, most notably, Provence and the Côte d’Azur, Privileged Moment travel programs bring together a wide range of professionals - from local experts and artisans to university professors - in the domains of art, architecture, archaeology, gastronomy, wine-tasting, local history and traditions, social and political dynamics and cross cultural communication.
Privileged Moments travel programs operate in collaboration with the American Center, which specializes in continuing education for adults as well as in educational tours, for which it is fully licensed by the French Ministry of Tourism, N° LI.013.07.007
SUMMER STUDY
FRENCH LANGUAGE AND ART OF LIVING
In the summer, Privileged Moments offers an in-depth six-week study program in Aix-en-Provence. Intensive French language coursework at intermediate to advanced levels includes an emphasis on intercultural communication insights and strategies for a comprehensive approach to language learning and use. Experiencing the rituals and traditions of contemporary France, students develop lasting intercultural skills while living with and like the French. Set in one of the most coveted places in the world for a summer stay, the program includes local excursions and four full-day course-related field trips.
This privileged summer in Provence is organized under the auspices of the American University Center of Provence, a private institution of higher learning formally recognized by the French Ministry of Education.
